An observational documentary fused with performances by world renowned musicians and featuring the extraordinary work of one of the most unique medical centres in the world – The New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic. Run as a charity, the clinic offers free health care to the musicians of New Orleans, believing that they can keep the music alive by sustaining the musicians and tradition bearers in body and mind. This month, the federal grant that keeps the clinic alive runs out. The musicians are campaigning tirelessly to keep the clinic alive and protect our musical heritage.
